IVF

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a fertility treatment where eggs are collected from a woman's ovaries, fertilized with sperm in a laboratory, and the resulting embryos are then transferred into the woman’s uterus. This process helps individuals or couples who have difficulty conceiving naturally.

How it works?

Ovulation Stimulation: Women take fertility drugs to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs.

Egg Retrieval: Eggs are extracted from the ovaries through a minor surgical procedure.

Fertilization: Eggs are combined with sperm in a laboratory dish to allow fertilization.

Embryo Culture: Fertilized eggs (embryos) are monitored and cultured for a few days.

Embryo Transfer: One or more embryos are transferred into the woman's uterus using a thin catheter.

Pregnancy Test: A pregnancy test is taken about two weeks after the embryo transfer.
